Last time I tried to get on here it came up SPAM after I typed in all this useful info. Broad and Erie road closing. Don't know if this will go through.

Hi Jim Iaquinto.

Hello Jim. The other site that I mentioned to Anthony is a Facebook site: "Tioga, Nicetown, Franklinville (Philly Neighborhood Philadelphia)."

Ed, Thanks for the input concerning the other website perhaps having info concerning reunions and it turns out that there will be one on Sept 14 2018. I was not at the 2007 reunion - perhaps my younger brother was ? - but I plan to attend this one.Hopefully, some of the people on this site can check out the other site, and go. Also, I noticed your post concerning St Stephens Cemetery - thanks for taking the time to upkeep the area. St Stephens may be gone but is not forgotten as long as people like you continue to work to keep it's memory alive.

This morning I joined a buddy of mine, Joe Harrison, to place twenty-two flags in the center of Saint Stephen's Cemetery. Joe started placing flags there a number of years ago in remembrance of the Union veterans of the Civil War who had been buried there. (Sources for this number vary; one says twenty-three, another says thirty.) This past winter was harsh and at least five trees were uprooted, one of which knocked down the sign that identified the cemetery. We rescued the sign and placed it along with the flags in a position clearly visible from Lycoming Street.

Anthony, I remember meeting you at the 2007 All-class Reunion. On Facebook there's a site that might offer some help: Tioga - Nicetown - Franklinville (Philly Neighborhood Philadelphia).

Is there any interest in getting a reunion of the old neighborhood together in the relative near future? We do not have to make it formal - perhaps meet at a diner or something similar? I do not have the time to co-ordinate the effort( I wish I did) but I sure would like to get together with people who had the same great experiences I did growing up in a great neighborhood/area!
